Ledger and anchors
Every request NeuralRing served or witnessed leaves a content-free record in one global chain; your ledger is your subset of it, and external witnesses fix when each chain head existed.
The record
Provider, endpoint, model, jurisdiction, tier and assurance at the time, the route taken, token counts — and no prompt, no answer. Hash-chained to the previous record and signed.
Subset is not chain
Your export verifies each record's signature. Continuity between your records is NeuralRing's own signed statement, because only the full global chain can recompute it.
What an anchor proves
That a chain head existed no later than the witness's time — an upper bound, from independent EU time authorities and a public log. Non-qualified stamps are labelled as such.
What a gap means
When every witness fails, the segment stays unanchored and is shown as a gap. It is never filled in later.
This is NeuralRing's own statement of the global chain; your subset cannot recompute it (subset ≠ chain). Rendered on its own line, never merged with the per-record verification.
The full export (records + signature chain + verifier) is yours at any time — the export is the asset.

What anchors prove. WHEN a chain head existed — not where inference ran, not what a provider is. A non-qualified stamp is never rendered as eIDAS-qualified.
Verify offline: node scripts/verify-anchors.mjs export.json anchors.json receipts/ · full token check: openssl ts -verify … (printed by the script). Not even NeuralRing can rewrite this history.
What an anchor does not prove
It does not prove where inference ran, what a provider is, or that a record's content is anything — an anchor proves when, and only when.
A ledger does not say a request was sovereign. It says what was recorded, signed, and witnessed, and when.
